100+ Women Artists You Should Know

100+ Women Artists You Should Know

I recently wrote and curated a blog post for Culture Collective with the intention of increasing public awareness of the epic array of female talent there is out there in the world.

I've seen a lot of "# of Artists You Should Know" type blogs out there, and there will be like 40 artists and only 2 of them will be women. So, I realized that perhaps people are just simply unawares of how many fantastic women artists are out there workin' it.

So... please browse this gallery and educate yo'self

Enjoy

Guest Blog: Creativity

Guest Blog: Creativity

My most recent guest blog is on CultureCollective - I would contribute more regularly, but I'm just getting into the swing of it. In the latest attempt, I wrote an article called Reclaim Creativity, about the necessity of public figures that inspire creativity in every individual, rather than as a special trait that is only exclusively available to a rare few.

Art For A Cause: UNIFY 'WATER' Art Gallery

Art With A Message

My Painting that I've donated to #LOVEWATER Campaign - Available for $25, and $225 (I think) on Sol Purpose's UNIFY 'Water' Art Gallery

My Painting that I've donated to #LOVEWATER Campaign - Available for $25, and $225 (I think) on Sol Purpose's UNIFY 'Water' Art Gallery

I had only recently begun haphazardly navigating the realm of guest blogging, when Jacob Devaney had asked me if I had wanted to make a painting for Water. This occurred around early March and the campaign for World Water Day on March 22nd.

It sparked a line of inspiration in me. Having read Vajra's article about his painting, "Man in the Middle" and the vision of using artworks for environmentally positive action through partnering with groups for humanitarian and philanthropic purposes, all I could feel was a big "YES" light up inside me.

Long story short, I wrote an article for Jacob & CultureCollective.Org. I positioned my work, "Water Is Life" for donation to Water.Org or The SolutionsProject.Org. I think I sold maybe $100 dollars, just using my etsy site. As small as that is, it felt like a huge triumph - A large puzzle piece in personal identity & dream-life integration had seemed to have found Its resting place.

It was a great first attempt at combining my love of art with my desire to steward positive change in the world.
